Fire
Burn them where they stand.
Explosive splash damage and lingering burns that melt armoured siege units and swarms alike.
Gameplay guide
Defend the last wall against waves of monsters. Draft heroes, choose boons that reshape their attacks, exploit elemental weaknesses and chain ultimates into combo finishers.
The basics
Kingsguard TD is a roguelite tower defense game. Enemies spawn at the top of the battlefield and march straight down toward your castle wall. Heroes positioned beneath the battlements attack automatically, you choose boons and cast ultimates, and you win the stage by defeating every enemy. If the wall’s health reaches zero, the run ends.
Goblins, skeletons and worse spawn up the lane and march straight for your wall.
Up to five heroes stand behind the battlements and attack the nearest threat automatically.
Fallen enemies drop elixir that fills your boon meter. Pick one of three boons – or draft a new hero.
Attacks charge ultimates. Tap to cast, then cast another within five seconds to chain a combo finisher.
The wall
The wall is your life bar. Enemies that reach it start attacking – and some, like the Goblin Bomber, explode on contact – so the goal is to stop the horde before it arrives.
Heroes
Every stage opens with a choice of heroes. You can field up to five heroes in the slots beneath the wall, and new heroes are offered through the same drafts as boons – so you build your team as the fight unfolds. Heroes attack the closest enemy within their range, never take damage, and each one has a unique base attack that boons can transform. Meet them all on the heroes page.
Roguelite runs
Fallen enemies fill your boon meter. When it bursts, pick one of three – a new hero, a twist on an attack, or an upgrade for the wall cannon. Try a draft below.
You have 1 reroll left.
Your run: 0 boons
Signature mechanic · Try it
Every hero attack charges an ultimate. Cast one and a five-second chain window opens – cast another before it closes to extend the chain. When it ends, every chained hero unleashes a combo finisher at once.
Your best chain: ×0

Elemental warfare
Every hero wields exactly one element. Every enemy carries its own weaknesses and resistances – so the team you draft decides which threats melt and which shrug you off.

Steel answers everything.
Raw kinetic force that ricochets, stuns and shreds the archers and sentinels that shrug off magic.

Gameplay questions
Enemies spawn at the top of the battlefield and march down toward your wall. Your heroes attack the nearest threat automatically while you choose boons, aim the wall cannon and tap heroes to cast their ultimates. Defeat every enemy to win the stage; if the wall falls, the run ends.
Boons are upgrades you draft during a battle. Defeated enemies drop elixir that fills your boon meter; when it is full you choose one of three options – a new hero or a boon that changes how a hero attacks, such as arrows that ricochet or fireballs that summon a phoenix. You can reroll a draft you do not like.
Every hero attack charges that hero’s ultimate. After one hero casts an ultimate, casting another within five seconds starts an Ultimate Chain. When the chain window closes, every hero in the chain unleashes a combo finisher – from arrows that stun every enemy on screen to a colossal chakram.
Every hero wields one of four elements: Fire, Wind, Light or Physical. Each enemy has its own weaknesses and resistances – Skeletons crumble to Light but shrug off Wind, Flyers are weak to Wind – so building a team that covers the right elements is key.
Kingsguard TD features a Campaign of escalating stages, an Endless mode for high scores, a weekly Boss Raid with a leaderboard, and Farm stages for gathering resources.
Kingsguard TD is a single-player PvE game with light social features. You can lend one of your heroes to other players and borrow a support hero for Farms and the Boss Raid, and you compete for rank on the weekly Boss Raid leaderboard.
